BYWATER BREW PUB

RESTAURANT AND BREWERY

Dylan and Nahum had been working for a couple of years to develop a brew pub in their historic building in the Bywater. They approached us very early on and we took on a role as art historian / interior designer / art makers. We took a keen interest in the building because it also houses many artists studios and has an amazing energy to it. For design, we helped the owners pick all the colors, tables and chairs, lighting, and aided in the development of a logo, etc. The history was very important so we decided to upcycle as many elements from the old space as possible to repurpose. The building was upgrading all corrugated aluminum exteriors and wood interiors so we used all of the old wood to make most of the art that now hangs in the space (including the bar itself).  For art we hand-painted 3 large murals, made 2 assemblage pieces using maps of the area, and helped them develop a rotating art space. You can see more on this awesome project in our About section interview video.
